Who we are

SULA Limited is a 100% PNG nationally owned company incorporated in 2013. SULA was incorporated by PNG national & Owner Rohan Clunn to tap into the vast project market in PNG.

With a combined Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management experience of over 40 yrs by Rohan Clunn and consulting partner John Pilotti, SULA is set to enthusiastically tackle the PNG market and compete on par with expatriate companies who offer similar services.

As PNG nationals with international exposure to multimillion dollar projects both Rohan and John have identified that there is a gap in the PNG market between with the capabilities of 100% owned national firms and international firms with a PNG office or semi national firms with expatriate partners. With the incorporation of SULA both Rohan and John hope to begin the process of closing this gap.

Rohan and John will endeavour to use only 100% PNG national owned companies in all business transactions, and where they feel there is a gap in capabilities will ensure smooth knowledge transfer to suppliers or sub-contractors with the view to strengthening not just SULA’s position in the local market but the other PNG companies SULA transacts with. SULA will promote integrity, honesty and transparency in all business transactions.

Rohan’s vision through SULA is to one day gain enough market share in the PNG project space where foreign investors will have the confidence to use this 100% PNG owned company to deliver major infrastructure & development projects throughout PNG.

Key Personnel

Rohan Clunn

Rohan has been in the construction industry for over 25 yrs and has covered the whole spectrum of positions from tradesman carpenter to Project Manager across mega retail projects Australia wide and rural development projects in Papua New Guinea. Rohan gained his tradesman’s certificate in 1997 and in more recent times has acquired his Cert IV in OH&S and Cert IV in Building and Construction Management. Rohan is well versed in construction technique and principles and is second to none in ensuring a quality output.

John Pilotti

John has close to 18yrs of Project & Construction Management experience both locally in Papua New Guinea and abroad over a number of continents and countries. John is a product of the PNG tertiary education system and graduated from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology in 2001 with a Bachelor of Engineering Electrical Power Degree with merit.
